My HTC Touch Pro checks email every time I sync - how to stop that?
 

I am using Missing Sync with Mac OSX and everytime I sync, my Touch Pro performs a send/receive on email accounts.

Is this a phone setting or a missing sync setting?

Any help?

Make sure that your phone is not connected to your computer. On your phone, open Activesync. On the bottom right, go to Menu, then Options. Uncheck e-mail. Exit out of everything then sync your phone. It should not sync your email any more.

As far as missing sync is concerned, I dont really know. But, if you have anything "missing sync" under programs, open it then go to options. There should be something similar.

My email sync option wasn't checked when I looked at this option, yet it still syncs the email (my Yahoo account) when I connect it to my comp...

Oh, and my Yahoo account is set to manual sync only...

Same problem I am having. Do you sync using Missing Sync for Apple OSX?
