Why is TouchFlo scrolling so choppy?
 

Having a touchscreen is nice, but no matter how much I tweak the registry, TouchFlo is not ever smooth. Play with an iPhone or Resco Explorer 2007/2008 (touch enabled) and you will see there is a sense of physics and wieght, even when flicking your finger to scroll faster. When scrolling, it is smooth in those programs/(phones), and it scrolls the distance you would expect it to. Why not on the Touch Pro?

I've used Advanced Config, and even set the registry numbers manually for screen sensitivity and Page High/Page Low. Is there a replacement for TouchFlo that works better?

mine is smooth as a babys butt with the reg. edits.

This cab has made my scrolling smooth as a baby's butt. Big props to bboyneko for the headsup.

I didn't find it made any positive difference at all & it messed up Sling Mobile big time.

How did it "mess up" Sling Mobile? Mine works flawlessly.

Sorry, I mixed this up with a different driver setup.

When I realized the info was wrong, I went back & tried to edit my post but the site wasn't working right & it wouldn't let me.

I've never tried these 3d drivers... dling now... but from what i've learned and tested...

Juggalos rom is fastest by far... even without that rom, you could atleast try this...

In TF3D Config, use Tweaks numbers 1-4 (which is all of them), then soft reset...

Before making any observations, use Advanced config and go under Performance, change:
File system cache size to 8MB

File system filter cach to 131072 sectors
and change Glyph cache to 128KB

Now hit done, but dont soft reset...

Use a registry editor

HKLM/System/storage manager/FATFS and change cacheSize to 32768, hit ok, wait a minute, then soft reset

now your tf3d should be a lil snappier...

but, when i do this with juggalos roms, it is ELITE with NO lag! Not sure if juggalos roms has this new 3d driver, but i'm about to test it out

So is it confirmed this cab really makes a difference? Can you uninstall it?
edit:Never mind tried it and it does seem to help
