Phone locking up, anyone else have this?
 

I had the overnight lockup problem a few times like others, but I started having a new problem.

Throughout the day, sometimes the phone will lockup and need a soft reboot. When this happens and I have unread texts and I reset, the texts are actually lost and erased from the threaded message, only showing the response previous.. anyone else ever seen this?

It started acting up after I used Advanced configuration tool and modified the file memory to 8MB and the a few other things that were recommended.

Oh, I also turned off sleep mode as I think this may be the culprit. If I set it to not sleep, but only turn off back light, will this consume more power? Also, does pressing the power button just turn off the screen, or does it put it to sleep?

reset the values and test. although it was an issue with touch pros that they locked up, backup and hard reset maybe?

sleep is the backlight turning off. it will save power if it doesnt have to keep the screen on.

i think a hard reset is in order.just make sure that you back up everything.
