Text message problem

For some reason, if I try to send a text message, but I don't have service, when my phone has service again, it proceeds to resend all the old text messages it has ever sent. This is extremely annoying because it spams all my friends with old text messages. Does anyone know how to fix this?

sounds weird... try a hard reset, but dont back up your texts.

delete anythign in your "drafts" folder. i had a really big problem with that when i restored a backup and i sent a lotta text messages i never meant to send lol
