Except for Sprint phones which used the ddcall.dll file instead at that registry location.

Here's a question for you though. The version that was taken from the HD didn't replace either the phonecanvas.dll or the ddcall.dll files and the registry entry was left unchanged when the CAB was installed. Yet the ## codes still did not work. Any idea why?

it will work trust me. ive tested it. i wouldn't post it if it didnt work. im not a noob lol

because u need to change the registry. why do you doubt me? i ran the GSM S2a canvas in my sprint roms for a few weeks and all sprint users reported working ##CODES, do i look that untrustworthy worthy? try it before u pass judgment.

I just installed on sprint and ##778# works.

Works fine for me using the WinMo dialer on the leaked vz ROM.

Here's the reason I'm asking, when I tried it on mine, the ##'s were still not available. Tried changing the registry value from ddcall.dll to phonecanvas.dll, but in both cases, the ##'s were not available. Again, this was with the original HD version.
