A bit off Topic but -

The sprint store tried to pull the same thing with my wife- she had a Samsung M520 that got swapped out like 4x and on the last one they said the next time they would give her a different phone, well it messed up again so we went back in and they said that they would swap it out with a High note but they didnt have any in stock and to come back in 4 days... when my wife came out to the car and told me what they said, I told her to go back in and ask if we could go to a different sprint store location to do the swap and if they would call and explain the situation. When she went back in he said thats too much hassle and just went to the back and got a new High Note and did the swap, he told her they are not suppose to give Brand new phones as replacements but he got the OK from the manager to do it this one time.

YMMV that just sounds like the same type of situation you described

lol mine was just a tab different since they did have the phone in our face and i just got the phone 3 days ago and it was brand new in the box i went to 2 stores one where i purchased it and they had about 3 of them left they said no we can't change it because these phones are reserved for customers already but when i left the store i called acting like someone else asking if i could purchase the phone they said sure we have plenty in stock that right there gave me a shock like damn even the stores are getting stuck up on the products
