weather database help?

i installed the weather database editor. and it lets me add in new cities just fine. but i cant add the particular city im currently in.
my zip code is 96789
and i believe the accuweather code for my town is NAM|US|HI|MILILANI
im able to add it to touchflo, but i think that code is wrong because it doesnt really give the weather.

interesting. apparently there's something up with your code. i just added it though the version that the kitchen has (US states and cities only) and even though Mililani, HI is preprogrammed, when i accessed it, it gave me an error. wierd. says "ids_state_0" whatever that means.

Hey, I did a little more investigating and found this thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ather+Database

over at XDA. You don't need to bother with all the lines and codes at all! Just open the weather database editor, enter your state (HI) and the name of your town, and then for the location code, just enter the zip code! I tried it with Mililani and it works like a champ. I also tried it for some other small towns that wouldn't work the other way and they worked too. Hope this helps.

I tried this program and it works great on my Sprint Touch Pro. Entering the zipcode for the AccuWeather Code is much easier!

I found that I had to use the "WeatherDatabaseEditor 1.1 Modified.cab" version because 1.2 would not work.
