Might try using Beejive. I have a Touch Pro and I was able to send IM's with that before I flashed it off my phone.

Re: MetroPCS Flashed Touch Pro (Juggalo's ROM) Question

So, I have a Metro PCS Touch Pro with everything working except:

Whenever I connect to the internet, I get a Resource Not Found "/wnf/t122/0/m" from http://mpcs.downloards.blue-cdp.com From there I can hit home (or enter in whatever address I want) and the internet works fine, it's more of an anoyance than a problem, but if anyone has an answer, that'd be great.

Also, Opera and IE require the Metro proxy infor to be added to the connection, but this causes Skyfire to not work. Skyfire needs the proxy turned off. Again, I can switch it between two setups (I like Opera, but Skyfire has Flahs for Hulu) so it's a bother and not a problem, but is there a way to make Opera connect to MetroProxy and Skyfire connect with MetroNoProxy automatically.

I've search, so sorry if I've missed the answer out there already. Thanks for any help.

I think I know the fix to your one problem but not the Skyfire problem

Have you tried just setting this as your internet browsers hompepage: http://mpcs.downloads.blue-cdp.com/x...1/def/122/0/1/

I understand where the problem is coming from, I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a way to have different programs automatically use different internet conenctions.

I don't see how this helps. Right now I have to load the one error page before I can start browsing. Even if this works, I'd need to load this one page instead, it doesn't get rid of the problem, just changes the page. Masybe something along the lines of an auto retry on the error, or changing the timeout level?

Thanks again for considering the problems, though, I'd be glad for any additional help.

Re: MetroPCS Flashed Touch Pro (Juggalo's ROM) Question

I know when I had the internet working on my phone I'd always get an error page as well on any browser and the moment I changed that it had stopped....

I got rid of that error with this homepage too, its not as nice as having your own homepage but its still nicer than seeing an error, try to think of it as a startup portal, most ISPs want you to use theirs, unfortunetly Metro kinda forces theirs on you unless you would rather see the error
