What kind of "beams" is my Touch Pro ready to receive? I thought that had to do with IR capable phones?

The term Beam seems to be a bit misleading...but it's for transferring files between BlueTooth connection.

Yes, it is misleading. And I have never transferred files using Bluetooth. Do you use this feature? If so, how?

If there is a file you wish to transfer to another blutooth device then this makes it easy. First you locate the file you wish to send then, hit menu/beam file/ you then locate the other blutooth device when the phone finds it, the file will then be sent. If you want to recieve, make sure your device is set to "recieve all beams" then have the person send you the file.
