Use as GPS for computer

Is there anyway to have my Vista laptop recognize the phone as a GPS unit? I'd like to be able to use mapping software, etc... on my laptop and hoped I wouldn't need to buy an external adapter.

Well, I found this program, but I can't seem to get it working. Any thoughts, or seem something similar that uses a cable?
