its either a today screen plugin or today screen selection...presuming ur question, i would check here or maybe here

I couldnt find my answer with those two links.
I for some reason still cannot enter the essentials I get an error telling me I need permission someone yesterday emailed an admin from here to look into it but I have not heard anything yet.

Navigating through this site and others to find answer is a quest in itself why isnt there a how to section etc.. faq. guides.

One way to get the screen to look like that is to install the wallpaper on every tab cab. I would give you the link but evidently I'm restricted also. I'll see if I have it saved somewhere, if so, I will try to post the cab.

LOL I appreciate the help but you guys drifted off or took a wrong turn I dont know. I was merely talking about just having the date on the upper curtain nothing to do with having a different backdrop on every tab that I already know how to do the date is the only thing I am missing.

The top curtain is controlled by a manilla file. Rather than trying to figure out which manilla and what to change in it, I merely provided you with a cab that I know makes the change you wanted easily. My bad if you didn't want your wallpaper on every tab. That cab gives you the flip clock also, just like in the screenshot you posted.

i've installed clocks and had it shift.. i don't know which file specifically controls it, but apparently one of the files in the all pages background cab seems to control that also.... maybe someone who knows the exact file can say which is what. i checked here but there doesn't seem to be any specific information... i'm going to guess that it has something to do with either 1bbfdc9b_manila, or 00ad7edb_mani, or 4e670504_manila..

Pdoc I got my answer someone told me it has to do with the flipclock installed which I cant stand so no date. I find it interesting how much I have learned about my phone in the past two days coming here and another site. Sometimes I have to wait a bit but you guys come through. One thing I would like to do which I have the directions to but they seem complicated is to change my taskbar icons to something of my own perspective I am good with photoshop but editing all these manilla files and registry entries makes me nervous what if I mess up my phone then im out some $$. So im holding off but anyway back to the subject thanks everyone for all your help got my answer.

The one for the top curtain is 443d5315_manila but I don't know what you need to change to get the date in it.

you can't mess up your phone to the point of it not being fixable unless you really REALLY screw up changing a rom or something... get something like sprite backup, and back it up before you do anything softwarewise, that way if you mess it up you can just restore it afterward. but changing this kind of stuff, worst case scenario, you end up hard resetting, and you're back to how it was out of the box.

what's good d.wlsn??? yea, xmas was good, caught up on sum sleep, lil ones went to gma house..lol. had to work the 26th, tho:disgust:...but yo D, that manilla file that pdoc spoke of..is there a spot on da site, where all those manilla files and "themes" if im guessing correctly, can be found in one spot??? like a consolidated thread or post for the TP???

Just turn off TF3D, install sprint2flipclock, restart TF3D....it will look exactly like that picture with the date in upper left corner. I know cause I use it ;)
