I Need Help I Keep Getting Uninstall Errors
 

Hi,

There are apps that I can't uninstall: I run parameter/system/remove programs and I get an error like "This app could not be completly removed. Do you want to remove it from the installed program?"

I hit Yes, but still it does not remove it from the list.

Any ideas?](*,)

prophecyxr glass_clock v1 but that really don't matter cause that is nt the first program that has done this i had to do a hard reset the first time.

Use SKTools or MemMaid -- they are excellent at getting rid of bits and pieces left behind by incomplete uninstalls.

I've just encountered the same error today. I tried to uninstall mobilematts6.0; several different clocks (that same glass clock). I tried using the memmaid but wasn't able to find anything to help remove the bad uninstalls. I tried that option and it didn't find anything.

Did anyone find an answer

Try to disable all today plugins first,than uninstall.If it doesnt help,u gonna need to end .exe processes(like biotouch.exe) using a task manager(like dot fred or something).

I'll check out dotfred. I did turn off TF3D from the today plugin. I also tried re-installing some of those apps that won't uninstall right thinking that it would correct the issue. Guess, what it didn't work.

What type of processes should i look for. Stopped the biotouch.exe and then tried to uninstall but still got the same errors
