Hard reset won't work

Phone won't soft reset - gets stuck at page with info versions - tried hard reset with holding volume down and center d pad button and then hitting reset button with stylus (still holding other buttons) and only get a soft reset (and it freezes at version info) - any ideas? thanks

what were you doing before this started happening? you might need to install your carriers rom/radio back onto the phone

Was trying to load a program - program failed to load completely and got stuck so I soft reset

I guess the instructions in the manual are wrong. What you need to do for a hard reset:

1) Shut off phone
2) Hold down the Volume Down and Enter buttons
3) While still holding down Volume Down and Enter hold down the Power button until the reset screen pops up.
4) Press volume up to hard reset.

Tried it - still does not go into hard reset mode - only soft resets to version info screen then freezes......

then I would look for your carriers rom (i would have done it for ya but dont know whatcha got) and redownload it to your phone.

Have you tried taking you battery out for a few minutes? You could try a hard reset again after putting it back in.
