Removing InvisibleShield Protector
So I guess I suck at putting these screen protectors on. I have numerous air bubbles including a pretty big/noticable one in the top middle of the screen. I might just live with it but I think I would rather take it off and try again with another protector.
Has anyone tried to take off the InvisibleShield screen protector? Does it leave a residue? It is safe to take off? I don't want to make things worse. Again, it absolutely sucks I didn't do a better job, but I guess I can live with it especially if it's all downhill from here if I try to take it off. Thanks. |
Re: Removing InvisibleShield Protector
comes right off, most you will need is some glass clean, they are more smudges than anything once you take it off, but they come right off

Re: Removing InvisibleShield Protector
next time you put it on run the shower until your bathroom is nice and misty, go in and as you apply protector use the edge of a credit card to push it against the screen..i guarantee zero air bubbles

Bodyguardz at least gives you two protectors I think. It's one and done with InvisibleShield. There's $30 down the drain! I would definitely pay someone the company to install it for me. I'll be buying one of the cheaper alternatives the 2nd go around. |

Does the same apply to the protector that came with the phone? I didn't really pay attention when putting it on and now I gots a bad case of air bubbles

PERFECT mix of usuability and protection. Call them, tell them you need to get a replacement full body shield, they'll look you up, charge you $2 to ship the new shield and all you have to do is send the old one back once you receive the new one. Don't go cheap, Zagg is worth every penny. |

Brandon Towne Center. You may want to give them a call to verify. I did not actually pay for the service

Re: Removing InvisibleShield Protector
When you take it off, put the protector in a shallow dish with water and a single drop of soap. Take it out of the water and let the excess drip off. Then you can position in place and squeeze out air bubbles. The next day it will be dry and look perfect. I did this method on my ipod and TP (using Best Skins Ever, instead of InvisibleShield) and it worked perfectly.

Re: Removing InvisibleShield Protector
Turns out that Zagg, the company that makes InvisibleShield, offers to professionally apply the shield for you for $10. But you are responsible for the shipping so it will be a little more than that. Plus, you'll have to deal with not having a phone for a few days.
I'll take my chances with the 2nd protector by myself again. I failed to avoid two major bubbles the first time but the rest of the shield dried out fairly nicely. |
