Had to hard reset, Now TP won't flash when new text message?
 

Before I had my TP flash a a circle light effect when I had a new/unread text message until it was viewed, and in my options I really can't seem to figure out where I would turn that back on. If anybody could point me in the right direction that'd be great, thanks.

Check Start>Settings>Sounds & Notifications>New Text Message

Check the box that says flash light for...

I didn't have to. Then again, I'm running Y4J's custom ROM

yeah, I thought that was a reg edit also. Aren't they greyed out otherwise?

I just think for whatever reason that feature was off in the stock ROM which I use...had to enable it ...youjust confirmed my doubts, lemme c if i can find that edit for the dude upstairs...op...ol

Thanks so much, I found it but it was greyed out, had no Idea why. Wonder why it's greyed out by default, anyway, thanks so much.

Anytime man,may be they forgot bout it or didnt consider enabling it due to the presence of only one led opposed to the mogul two leds, I have no clue....lol:mrgreen:

The TP has 4 LED's for the light ring, btw
