Any way to make my phone lock when I turn screen off?

Was wondering if there was something in settings I was missing, or an app that when I turn the screen of my phone off, it would automatically lock, it has a bad habit of unlocking itself in my pocket. Would be nice if it used the same way if you hold the end key (hate to hold it for 5 seconds everytime to lock it) Touchflo 3d unlock, looks very nice.

There are several apps that do exactly what you want. I would recommend both S2U2 or sensor lock.

I didn't like S2u2, I just want something very basic that uses Winmo's locking system itself, but just has it everytime I power off the screen

Hmm well given the limitations of the windows locking system that may not be possible. I myself use sensor lock which works in a similar sense as the windows locking system. take a look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw_bztlQuZw

Ahh so it just winmo limitations in general. Well I guess i'll look around for a registry edit or something, if no luck, i'll use this, seems pretty cool. thanks =)

There's a program for it. OnLock

Install the cab and soft reset. It should lock your screen every time your phone powers off using the built in screen lock function

s2u2, touchlock pro, throttle lock, pocket shield (pay) all lock your device. They have different settings/options, so you'll have to mess with them and figure out which one works for you.

Edit: Hovthagawd, I've never tried sensorlock (completely forgot about it), but does it drain the battery more than the other ones? Seems like it would if it has to use the accelerometer to lock/unlock all the time...

Yep...generally anything that uses the accelerometer will suck the battery dry IMO, but I have never tried this app so I can't say for sure.

lipidfats I have yet to see it drain the battery in a noticeable fashion. It's simply a better locking system IMO. If you want to lock it quickly simply press power. Also if the unlocking and locking gestures are cumbersome you can change them to your likeing. Also (yeah i'm rambling) it's a really small app that dose exactly what the stock lock should have. Give me a sec and i will give you a link to try for yourself.
