Sprint said that it's been over 30 days so that I would have to make an insurance claim. Do we have confirmation that earlier devices were recalled due to the chrome coming off from Sprint. If I could refer to a published Sprint recall document on the web, it would make my conversations with customer service go much smother. Thanks guys.

Getting back to the chrome issue, I can lightly rub my fingernail across the chrome and it comes off!

Johnny dude, a Sprint employee posted on here that if your TP falls in a certin range of serial number , you get a replacement. I dont believe you need or can find a document however you can find the right rep to help ya I am sure

agreed, take it into a store repair center. you still have a 1-year warranty on the phone, or you can use TEP to get a new one sent to you. the 30-day time period is just to give you a chance to change to a different phone in case you didnt like the first one.
