My mp3 clip in this case is about 40 seconds. If it's super-annoying and actually does play the whole thing, back to mp3 trimmer I go. Thanks all.

ETA: nope, the ringer stops when I check my voicemail (which is what I set up). Cool.

I tried this and it didnt work for me. I am trying to use a ringtone that says "excuse me boss you have a text message" for when I get a message. I copied it to device/windows/ yet it still wont show up in the menu. :(
