Re: Noticed that Beam is turned on. Will this cause battery waste?
You can use the BEAM to transfer programs and other stuff (contact info) from one TP/Diamond to another TP/Diamond (handset to handset) wirelessly. Yes, turn it off if not needed. When on, it constantly polls for an incomming signal thus draining the batt prematurly.

Re: Noticed that Beam is turned on. Will this cause battery waste?
2 Questions:
- Where is the Infrared port on this thing? Wasn't aware it could Beam. - States above that files can be transferred to another TP or Diamond...does this apply to PPC 6700 as well which does have an IR port? |
