WOW! Guys I just found out that Best Buy didn't record me for upgrading to the pro so I am gonna go out and pick up a Touch for 50 bucks! I just gotta activate it for 30 days which I doubt they will enforce!

Haha, Thanks man, I thought it was funny. I had one through SBC and was charged $.25 a minute (no plans at all.) And I am happy with mine as it is. I think a Pro with a slide out would suit me nice.

Has it been within 30 days? Thru 3rd party dealers they normally reset your eligibility after 30 days. If its been OVER a month, hallelujah your damn lucky! :D

This happened back when I bought my Sanyo M1. I got it from the Sprint store actually but they never changed my upgrade status, so I that was how I got my Mogul. They tried to fight me saying I wasn't "really eligible" to upgrade, but ended up just putting a credit on my account making it a fake upgrade.

ha, i also bought at best buy the day the pro came out and it looks like my subscriber agreement expired on 12/13/08. so they didn't extend my contract either. awesome!

you lucky punks, they upgraded mine, my contract doesnt expire until 2010 i guess i didnt get lucky this time, but i had this happen to me before, i believe it was when i bought my palm 700

not my fault they forgot.... did i mention i had to stand in best buy two hours and these 3 stupid girls accidently put it on my moms plan and couldnt fiquire out how to fix it so i was like gimma the phone and left. did it at my house in 5 minutes. OH! I bet that is what happened! My mom's upgrade got used not mine.

The proper thing to do is notify them of their error. You know that. If the upgrade does not get charged, then BestBuy does not get paid. It has nothing to do with the minimum wage clerks. Ask your mother what is the right thing to do.

Wonder if the adults that egg you on realize you are 13 and they are contributing to the delinquency of a minor?

Ive gotten payed on many contracts that snap or sales support forgot to extend they're contract. And do you know what happens next? I upgrade them again and if they screw it up again, I upgrade them again. god, live a little will you

u go upgrade your phone at best buy, corp., 3rd party what have you...you do the upgrade and a week later you find out they never took your eligability away. then you go online and upgrade your phone again. oops im so embar*****
