Ok. I'll go with that. So I don't need to undo anything from phase I, re-doing phase II should take care of that?

What about the QPST settings I did for aGPS? Do you think I should reverse those now?

What's the code I had to use to put the phone into QPST programming mode? That's gone from post I.

So now, with this fix, we can *228 anytime and not have it mess things up?

Just push foward with the update. Don't worry with QPST until AGPS is fixed and yes *228 is actually needed this time so please do :)

If I can get ahold of the Telus PRI, I can most likely unlock it. We'll have to see though. As Verizon has proved time and time again, each carrier pulls different crap.

You want the stock PRI?? The one that comes in it when it's shipped??

Has anyone tested if *22988 will work (i.e. the no prompt update), or if we must we use *228, option 1?

Ok, got Phase I fix to work with Scrosler's 3rd ROM. Early this morning flashed to a ROM I built with PPCKitchen, re-installed Phase I fix and NO GO on GPS. Not only would it not get a lock, it wouldn't even see any satellites. Flashed to Nex's ROM and same thing. Flashing back to Scrosler's ROM to see what happens. And yes, all settings double and triple checked!!!

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I tried Phase II fix with Nex's ROM

Phase II installed and HTC GPS running with no luck so far. Any thoughts?

Yes it should work. You can be the first to find out if it's a must :)

BTW The first version of the GPS fix worked great for the TELUS Touch Pro! Got a gps signal within 1-2 seconds... 5 seconds max on a cold start, that's as quick or even better than what I had on my previous p4000 (titan). The only problem was the roaming... I don't care for the roaming icon, it doesn't bother me and even if the sign is there you do not get billed for roaming and even then I don't care if I do! My only problem is that if I'm in roaming, my exchange server is not connected (need to do manual send/receive) and it's not possible on the touch pro to ask it to still be connected in roaming (the checkbox is there, but can't be selected...) Any solutions?????? Thanks!!

I'll get you the stock PRI tomorrow. I have 2 of each TELUS SmartPhones and always keep one 100% stock... If you need info out of any other TELUS SM let me know! I have most of them with me all the time (it's for my job btw lol)!! I don't have a stock Touch Pro with me now... I'll be able to get my hands on it tomorrow and will let you know what it is...
