link doesn't work anymore says max downloads exceeded...

I was using the QPST build that was posted on the titan wiki (2.7 build 215) but it doesn't have the "SURF7500A" for phone... it says it's "WinCE"... If I click ok to open the connection it says: "The model selected is unknown. Please select a base model from the list of known phone models:"

drop down list shows other surf ones but no surf7500a... I guess I need a newer build of QPST.. will wait for link to updated.

I need the wmodemdriver mentioned in the first post....since that link is dead I can't get the "pack". I already have the qpst.

lbjohnny - I believe you are actually using an older build, make sure you are using build 301 and you should be set. The WinCE shows up on older builds, but will show up SURF and the latest version (that's the correct port, and the correct device but you need a newer build)

Awesome Job, just a quick Q...

When using the qpst, it sees my TP as WinCE and not 7500. Then when going in to program device it asks for a base as it does not recognize. The highest is around 6100... I am probably doing something stupid, but this was after a hard reset as well.

I had the same problem in qpst until I upgraded the version of qpst I was running using the link in the first post. If you are running an older version of qpst it may not know about the device.

Quick Way to get a fix on GPS but it requires dealing with VZW.

If your struggling and "desperate" to get that first fix do this...

Call VZW and have your phone provisioned for VZ Navigator. Install the app and get a fix one single time. Close app. Launch GPS app of you choice and you will be locked. You can than uninstall VZ Navigator and cancel subscription. I just did that because I had to hard reset. Couldnt get a lock right away so I just cheated the system ;c) I do however keep my subscription as one day I may need it. You never know.
