Mine has done it twice to me... I didnt have it plugged in charging, it was just in my case on my hip and I notice my waist getting very very warm, so I pulled the phone out and the back of the phone was extremely hot. Both times I just got done using my camara, so I was thinking maybe it had something to do with that, but all I did was soft reset it and it fixed the problem.
