nope that didn't work. when I ran the sspl manually on the phone it goes into a loading mode. and then I opened the hspl on the pc and it tried to communicate with my phone and came back with a error 260. do I need to hard reset this puppy?

you need 035 verizon package , 025 and 037 are for sprint , telus bell etc

I'm with Sprint. I have a sprint Touch Pro. I've just hard reset this puppy. I'm going to try again right now.

no he has sprint. i had a similar issue.... puld ut in so it is synced and then run sspl and launch the ruu as fast as possible

Looks like i'm screwed..... I'm just going to load up the individual cab files and 3rd party apps and see how that goes. But thanks for everyones input.

Now I'm getting a .netcf error. and telling me to retry and if it fails to reinstall .net

One of the programs you are trying to run might require .net version 3.5 and I am not sure that comes standard on the stock sprint rom.

Please reread the unlocking thread again and go very very slowly. If your phone is not able to sync up using active sync then you won't be able to flash either. It's not enough to hear the familiar ding of the USB being detected. Thats not a true sync.

Your phone should be no different then anyone elses from Sprint so it MUST be something you are doing..or something your computer is NOT doing. Check your active sync setting on your phone and deselect enable advanced network functionality if it's enabled.
