Re: FM Radio Discussion

The one in my TP started working after I bought a walkman with fm radio. I just taped the tp to the walkman and it is working fine! I also got a connector to a big boombox I can carry on my shoulder and walk around like people did in the 90's. Too bad D batteries are hard to find... Oh well I'll keep rocking it until someone puts am radio on the TP then I'm all over that like a duck on a june bug.

Hahah! That's one way to get it to work.

But, I'm guessing that there's really no way that we'll be able to hear FM Radio on our CDMA phones?

YES There is!! Get a diamond or the new EVO! Diamond has a custom rom with it working and the EVO comes with it out of box.

Re: FM Radio Discussion

OK, I know its an old thread, but bear with me...

I bought a remaned Sprint TP1. Unlocked it to work on Boost Mobile. Everything (except Sprint TV (but who cares) works great, INCLUDING THE FM RADIO. So on mine it is NOT a hardware issue.

However, I wanted something faster, without TF3D so I could use my SPB Menu. Of course I downloaded the wonderful Calkulins v4.2 WWE ROM (insert KUDOS here).

Now everything is faster, more responsive, but the FM radio no longer works. I have tried every suggestion on these pages. But the FM application wont find anything. I copied the driver files to \Windows\System32 because i cannot find an OEMDRIVERS directory, and wasn't sure where to create it.

Any ideas?

Re: FM Radio Discussion

FM radio working on CDMA TP? That must be a first.

What rom was it running before you flashed?
