cannot answer calls when activesync connected
 

Hello, i have seen a few other threads mentioning this problem with no working solution for me. I have a sprint HTC touch pro on JD's rom 7.1 and when ever i am connected through activesync to my computer i cannot answer any calls. it rings, all be it, with a long long delay and then the call id pops up with the answer, hang up, or ignore with text options. i can hit answer or hang up but neither does anything. it just stays on this screen with the phone ringins. if i disconnect from activesync every thing works as it should. from what i can tell, i cannot answer the phone because the data session is active and not being dropped for the phone call *** it should. i tried the ##ddtm# switched option that was mentioned, deleted my microsoft exchange setup, and had it stop syncing email all together but the problem still persists. any help or advice?

i have a similar problem... mine happens even if it's not connected to the computer... it seems if i use the browser to do anything and i get a call they always go to voicemail. it usually takes 1 minute or more to get calls actually to go through. i checked the ddtm settings, it's off right now but calls still go to vmail??? can anyone help?

Same here. Cannot answer when ever using GPS. Talked to tech support and they told me this is how it should work.

Go figure.

I don't have that problem.....i am able to pick up the phone while on Activesync or any other connection on the phone.....what are the settings you have on activ sync?

Not sure if you have checked this: File->Connection settings then Make sure to check allow USB connections "by default" and check the "allow wireless connection on the device when connected to the desktop" field" Hope this helps

I would suggest a hard reset and try to replicate the problem with the stock Sprint rom if possible.....I have the stock one and i don't have that problem.....
