Better scrolling through contacts?
 

'Im getting annoyed at how in some menus (like the all applications menu) it scrolls beautifully, and looks great, yet when I go to contacts its the standard winmo UI + the nice little alphabetical sidebar. Is there anyway to achieve Tf3d like scrolling in contacts? I've tried iContact, but its very sluggish and slow, no video accelertation, anybody know a remedy for my woes? And on a side note, is there a way to make iDialer come up everytime I try to dial a call, instead of navigating my way to it? thanks.

There are a lot of apps out there.. I can't think of any.. But a fellow 'Geeker will be by soon to post what you really need.. Sorry I can't be of any more help.. Good luck!

I would like a solution too... I get within 4 contacts away, and when I slide my finger up, I'm now 400 contacts away...

lol.. You have a lot of friends! 400!!!! Wow.. I will try looking, but I run the stock Touch Flo so I use the Touch Flo-style dialer and contact scrolling...

Maybe there's a version of iContact that uses video acceleration?

Are any of those contact programs embedded into the WM UI? I don't want to have to wait for the program to open and load and blah.... I think iContact is like that.... It has to be just as fast as the one currently on there.... Please let me know.... Thanks in advance...

I agree... I think there's a way to have the service for PocketCM running in the background, but I have to find it

Get out of the habit of using the contacts. Use the smart dialing in the phone, or just enter the name if you're text messaging and have the auto insert feature work for you.

I too am annoyed by the contacts menu. I end up calling people by accident because it scrolls so fast and I try and stop it lol

Hey pocketCM is great, except for the fact it doesn't work right on my VZW touch pro >.< The small tidbits I can play with run great but on the latest version there's blackboxes and many thing overlapping and offcolor, the previous versions from .25 and back are all stuck in a manochomatic yellow, can't change, it, ughh it seemed so great too =/. Any ideas how to fix it?

you guys don't like icontact burt edition ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?t=402724)? It's fast on first boot and closes out when you pick an action... i like it a lot compared to the terrible default contacts manager. the two seconds it takes to load pocketcm is too much for me...

this is the best version of icontact available...

but, how bout a TF3D tab for all contacts just like CallHistory? I"M SURE THAT HAS TO BE ABLE TO BE DONE! THAT would be icing on the cake... You want a favorite, go to favorite tab, you want a dif one, flip through the list in the All Contacts tab
