on my tp, when i set the alarm and it goes off i get a notification popup and i tap that and it goes off, im not having the issue you guys are.

I was having this issue. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for it. I ahve since flashed my rom again and the issue no longer exists...for how long though I can't say for certain.

I ended up just upgrading to G Alarm. So far so good. When I first installed G Alarm, it actually popped up a message saying that I was susceptible to the Windows Mobile alarm bug, and said it fixed it, but like I said, I'm using G Alarm now so it's hopefully not an issue.

Using G-Alarm as well but I think it uses the same notification. Could be wrong but ya, I have not had a problem with G-Alarm.

I just went to sounds and notifications, under the notifications tab, you can select reminders from the events pulldown menu. Just select display message on screen. That fixed it for me. Now you can dismiss the alarm normally.
