VPN/ PPTP with my TP

I was able to run the VPN client on my Mogul no problem. When I setup a VNP/ PPTP connection on my TP and try to use it it shows no feedback that it is even trying. I "right click" and choose "connect" and nothing. I know it is setup correct as I can go to my wifes Mogul that is still operational on same carrier and config, then launch the VPN/ PPTP connection from her's and it connects. Has anyone used VPN with the TP?
