eT9 Issue Resolved for Hard Keyboard
 

For some reason when I attempt to use my hard keyboard the T9 is not on. I have played with all the settings and still I have to turn it on, on each message that I write. When I push the FN then Spacebar on my keyboard it is set to ABC. If I turn it to T9 it works for that message; when I go to type a new message it is back to ABC. Does anyone know how to make T9 stay on as default?

I found the fix for anyone wanting to use eT9 settings on Touch Pro hard keyboard.

· How to fix eT9 issues with Hard Keyboard
ü Open a new text message
ü Bring up Soft Keyboard
ü Press the up arrow (to select a different keyboard)
ü Open the Full QWERTY Keyboard and select T9 (ABC-T9)
ü Then press the up arrow (to select a different keyboard)
ü Select Keyboard (not Full QWERTY)
ü Close the keyboard selection
ü You can now use your eT9 settings on your hard keyboard and the settings will stay on.
