More information on caller ID
 

Is there any way to have the caller ID give more information such as Company if it is listed in your phone book. This would be very handy when someone calls and you can't remember which company their with.

Have you tried entering the company name under the contact? Then go down to "File As:" and it should list the company you previously entered.

That would work, but I am looking for it to display both the company and contact name.

Not sure what else there is to do besides that... Unless you got an app that was for contacts...

I have mine set to show the contact name and in parans, the company:

Doe, John (Some Company)

Isn't that available in the drop down for File As when editing your contact?

Why not just add the carrier's name after the name?

I thought that is what the OP wanted to see, but he said "but I am looking for it to display both the company and contact name." I'm not sure what else he wants to see. I guess if wants more he would have to look into 3rd party software.....
