Looks like I got lucky too then... I'm a total newb to flashing (phones of course) and forgot to make sure I did a CDMA ROM first time I tried...
And thats exactly what happened, phone just kept power cycling and after I loaded Sprint ROM back to it, it worked like a champ... posting from it now!

Can we confirm that at one point, FM radio was working on a CDMA Touch Pro?

Well - I can personally confirm that at one point FM radio was indeed working on a Sprint branded CDMA Touch Pro because mine was.
I went back to MobiPCS yet again last Sunday - now the guy is saying they "think" they can get it working on their network with EVDO REV A. I had intended to go to the store yesterday and see what the status was - but ran out of time so I will try again tonight.
LIke I said either way I'm going to get another phone - BUT if all goes well tonight then I *should* end up with the ROM the dude loaded that had the radio working.

The other thing I realized after thinking about it - I really tend to think he started with a GSM rom. Another thing was that the camera was not working - ...aaand their IS a GSM version of these phones that DO NOT have the camera - so I'm thinking that's what he did...

Could it be possible that is was based on a GSM Raphael kitchen, but with a CDMA carrier cab on it, or something like that

gotcha bs i'm blowing the horn on this if you load a gsm rom on these in some cases it will not boot AND WHAT GSM TOUCH PRO DOESN'T HAVE A CAMERA PLEASE LINK A PICTURE OF THAT PHONES SPECS

I don't know much about ROM's, but I don't believe this is possible..

I think he was referring to the front facing camera that the CDMA Sprint Touch Pro does not have...

1. You can put a GSM ROM on a CDMA phone and the phone will still work if you don't update the radio ROM.

2. As far as the version of the Touch Pro not having a camera I forget where I read about that - might of been on xda-develpers but I don't recall for sure. I didn't explore the topic much because that was not my concern.

3. I don't see why you're being so rude. Look how hard is to to grasp the concept - FM Radio was working on my phone when MobiPCS handed it to me. Gawwd get over it already. damn!
