Help! Phone vibrates every time I press a button
 

Ok so I installed the original HTC home plugin on my touchpro because I was getting annoyed with TF3D. Now any time i press a physical button including the keyboard keys the phone vibrates. I uninstalled htc home but its still doing it.. How do I make it stop!!

Try this go to Settings then Buttons then go over to Vibrate and see if "Vibrate device when a button is pressed" is checked.

When i go into the buttons screen, there are two tabs. One that says program buttons. It says select a button (send key) and then has an assignment option to assign a program. The other tab is "up/down control" and it allows you to customize the way the up/down repeats. There is no vibrate options. BTW i am using a cdma touch pro.

there should be a third tab that says virtual buttons. uncheck the box in there.

No third tab.. Any registry edits to stop this?

What ROM are you on? Even the stock ROM has the third tab that says Virtual Buttons. You might have to tap an arrow or something to see it. Unless of course you are on some custom ROM.

is it just with buttons or screen? try touchscreen settings (disable vibrate)

did you do a back up before you installed that theme? if so do a restore. hard reset is always an option.

Any resolution on this? Likewise, I have a stock ROM and only two tabs and would really prefer to turn on tactile haptic feedback but dont have that option.
