no Internet access during pc sync
 

Hello,

Before when i had the treo750, i would have Internet access whenever i am connected(cable or bluetooth) to my pc thats connected to the internet. I am using a touch pro right now but i am not getting any internet when i am connected to my pc!. Is this normal? can i only access internet thru wifi or 3G but not thru activesync?? thank you very much

Open Activesync, go to File > Connection Settings and then make sure "Allow Wireless Connection on device when connected to the desktop" is checked off.

I had this issue too for a day or so. Unplug your device and soft-reboot. Delete the partnership from WMDC and reboot your machine.

Create the partnership again, and see if that helps. That's what fixed it for me.

Wow so you were able to get internet access with active sync? that mean the Touch Pro can really do this.

I unchecked the box but I still can't connect to the Internet. Do I need to do a soft reset and recreate the partnership? :scratch:

i never really like WMDC. when that's running, u lose the data connection. i normally just kill the wmdc process before connecting my touch pro to my pc. the activesync connection is still there, but u get to keep ur data connection as well.
