I use TCPMP, it's free and works great. I consider anything that is free and works great to be the best../shrug

It does have the bext Divx/Xvid playback available for TP. The free Divx Player's UI is essentially useless and CP outperforms TCPMP significantly.

I got it still a nice player but blue flicker still there in tv-out and I have an mkv file that is not playing so well...if I convert it to avi would it play better on the coreplayer?

I suppose this significant amount is based on another stupid benchmark? Seriously..if the damn video plays smooth and not grainy, I don't give a f*ck what the program is or what it's performance number is. TCPMP is free...and it plays smooth.

It is based on visually observed video playback performance, confirmed by benchmarks. My videos are all encoded for VGA.

you guys DO realize TCPMP and Coreplayer are the SAME EXACT program right? so this arguing is stupid.

Coreplayer is what happened to TCPMP when it went commercial. The TCPMP that has existed for some time .72, is just essentially the "free beta" of coreplayer before it went commercial software. TCPMP may be good for free but youll never see any updates to it when coreplayer is constantly updated with fixes and improvements

I thought tcpmp didn't have the qtv support?

Re: Anyone tried the new CorePlayer v1.3 on the TP?

it doesnt. What i mean is TCPMP is an earlier version of coreplayer but its made by the same people based on the same coding so its a silly argument. Coreplayer is obviously much more advanced and updated which is why it costs $$$.
