Re: Flash Lite vs Flash 7

Does Flash Lite play all flash items from the web or only up to version 9 or something? I installed it and did a soft reset, but for instance everytime I go to these websites, the flash objects don't show up:

Radio Station that uses Flash Player:
http://corusmedia.media.streamthewor...FM&active=true

ESPN (Video player won't load, on left side, says I need to install the latest version of Flash Player)
http://espn.go.com

I'm a n00b when it comes to WM so not sure if this is a limitation of flash on WM I might not know about. Either way it sucks you can't use flash in WM 6.1 unless there's a trick or something. It doesn't appear to work in Opera 9.5 or Internet Explorer (Can't figure out how to tell what version comes on the Touch Pro) on WM 6.1.

It seems that the flash player only supports some sites but not all. I would suggest to download the skyfire browser http://get.skyfire.com/. scroll all the way down to were it says expert install and then select the windows mobile touchscreen. After you download the file all you have to do is to connect your phone to your PC and go to explore on the active sync and navigate to your storage card and drop it anywhere in there. then navigate to your storage card on your phone using file explorer under programs or Total commander and simply run the file by clicking on it. Hope this helps.

No worries. I am a noob as well so i know how u feel :)

You can use the link i posted earlier in this thread and download the Flash lite to ur PPC and see if that makes any difference. Believe it or not i didn't get a chance to do so but i will soon.

"update"

Let me check the link....thats odd.....it worked earlier.....anyone else had problems with the link>? http://www.1800pocketpc.com/blog/wp-...y_flash3_1.cab <------This link works

so since u guys are on the topic of flash... i've been wondering what happens if i install flash 3.1 on my stock sprint rom... will it allow me access to some flash content on opera mobile? or do i have to have a non-stock version of opera...? i've seen people getting flash for opera, but i was under the impression it didn't work for stock opera with the touch pro.. this thread just made me wonder if the above is true or not.
