Windows Live Search ate my Long Press Send Key assignment

](*,) Help! I'm using AE Button Plus to extend the functionality of my hardware buttons. I had the LONG press of the Green button (a.k.a. Send Key) unmapped, so it would still work to trigger MS Voice Command (as it did out of the box). This configuration worked for a week until I installed Windows Live (Search and Hotmail, No IM - downloaded directly from microsoft). Now the long press brings up Hotmail in the Windows Live application. I have tried re-mapping the button using AEBPlus again, but nothing works.

 Is there a registry key that WinLive creates or screws up? Is there another way to get Voice Command linked back to the send key long press? For now I have it mapped to the long press on volume up key (so it feels similar to my old Apache), But I'd like to get MS Windows Live off my send key.

Go to your settings tab-->buttons and then you can reassign the send key( green button) to the voice command. Hope this helps

Thanks. That did work. Somehow that setting overrides what AEBPlus does.

Windows Live & Hotmail were NOT preinstalled on the VZW image. When I set up my Hotmail account in the email client it directed me to a microsoft web page asking me to accept the license agreement and then directing me to download the CAB file to install the functionality.

Thanks to both of you for the replies.
