Trouble sending/receiving gmail?
 

Is anyone experiencing problems sending/receiving gmail on their phones right now?

I work in IT and just had a couple users call me asking if something was wrong with the inet connection, both were trying to reach gmail. Might be a problem on their end right now.

Ok good. I was having problems sending so I deleted my account and readded it. Now I can't send or receive.

Hopefully it's just on their end.

Last night I was having issues getting on gmail from my home computer so that might be some of what you are getting today.

I just checked my gmail a few minutes ago and it was working fine, I haven't had any problems all day and I have been checking my gmail on both my phone and my work pc all day, no problems.

My web-based gmail has been really finicky last few days:( so I don't think it's your phone.

Interesting...I just sent myself a test email from my work email so I know I have mail in my inbox. When I try to send/receive on my phone it goes through the motions

Connecting...
Logging On...
Looking for changes...
Disconnecting Finish..

All in a matter of 4-5 seconds and it's not retrieving the email that I know is there. Grr..

I checked gmail just a sec ago and no problems either....Did you do a soft reset yet? That usually helps. I had some data issues before and by doing so it helped fix the problem.

Seems to be working again. I did multiple soft resets and add/delete email accounts.

Don't know what it was but it's working now so oh well.
