Not to mention we're viewing full web pages now instead of mobile versions... So I don't see why you're shocked at all... i think it's more about the user and less about the device racking up data...
but i use about 1gb without tethering in the first month.. probably gonna average 500mb

I'm not shocked at all, I understand the technical side of why, I'm just curious as to what sprint thinks when we go over a certain point (without Tethering) and what the average is for a months use of the phone.

ahh okay, well your original post makes it seem like you're shocked compared to previous phones...
i wonder if they'll put a cap or raise prices to att levels, since these days we use up a lot more than we used to....

I'm curious to know as well. What does Sprint do when you go over the 5gb limit. Also I'm thinking I'll change my plan this weekend to have data access across my whole plan. Does that make it 5gb per account or 5gb per phone.

It would be per device, from what I understand.

Where is the option for zero? I do not have a data plan. I just use my own Wifi. While that is certainly in the < 1GB category, it really should be a separate category.

There is no limit on phones with a data plan. Unless it's buried deeeeeeep somewhere on the site, but it clearly states unlimited data plans.

for people using more than 5gig on a cell phone i think they might wanna sit down at a computer (its much faster). and how is your battery doing with that much web access?
