Re: Graphics Performance issues?

Exactly, WM devices are not gaming devices, this isnt the iphone no matter how much the media tried to compare every device to the iphone. the iphone is a toy, with entertainment and gaming first, and office function as a hindsight which is totally opposite of WM. WM is a business platform first, and just happens to have media player and some photo viewing capabilities.

I have a Dell mini 9 I use for strictly work, but just because it has media player and some games on it doesnt mean I expect it to perform like my older home laptop. it was built for a particular function, namely portable and light for work, as a 8.9" base netbook sure wasnt meant to be a gaming platform, just like WM.

And the Mustang analogy is a little off. There is nowhere that its legal to release that performance to notice the difference. A average person (average Joe) will not notice 250hp vs 300hp or know one's quarter mile time is .3 seconds faster. Neither were built as race cars to utilize all the HP the engines can make and VERY few people ever put them to the test- just like gaming on WM. Essentially, just because something older may perform better does not mean its better overall nor does it mean that it was the core feature of the product. Its just another case of the minority screaming the loudest about being dissatisfied about the smallest things.
