hey i should be getting my pro tomorrow :headbang:

so what are some of the things i should be doing first?

any firmware updates i should install?

or whats the best rom so far?

any good apps you guys recomend?

thanks for your help you guys i cant wait to get this phone im tired of my stupid instinct iv been deprived of windows mobile for so long lol

btw any one know where i could get that music id program i remember i had it for my touch back in the day...

sprint, depends on user

check wavezeros list and the essentials, then xda and here for others

FIRST thing you should do is HARD RESET, for me i then installed the battery and performance hack from the ESSENTIALS THRED, look over there for stuff you WILL need.

Wave's post has been 86'd ....do a hard reset, get a registry editor(phm reg editor can be found in the sticky up top,named TP essentials) and a back up app installed (spb back up is the best).

I've been meaning to download this on my Mogul but kept on forgetting to do so. I can't tell you how many time's Im going down the road and hear a song I really like but don't know the name of. Now that I've got my TP i finally put this on there. Love it! thanks for the link :headbang:

while your device is hard resetting, you should read a lot... a lot.. and keep reading.. learn.. don't just start installing software or roms... you're going to have a lot of questions, if you read first, you'll know where to go when you experience something.

well im getting my phone in an hr they called me and their hold in it for me :) so whats the best gps software for my phone?

iv always used the one that comes with sprint but on some of the roms i see that some people remove the stock sprint gps and install google maps....

is google maps better?

does it work like a gps or is it just a map?
