Songs stop playing when screen is off...

Ok, I can't remember if this worked at one point or if it never worked and I'm just now noticing, but when I'm playing music from the music tab, and I press the power button, the music stops. On my last phone, the Instinct, I could turn the screen off and the music would keep playing.

I recently bought and installed Pocketshield, could this be the cause?

Let your phone kick in to auto off and music will still play. If you have a headset then you will be able to switch phone off and still listen to music.

have you tried playing around and configuring settings inside of Pocketsheild? My pocket sheild just does not lock the phone while music is playing..so im assuming that you have a option selected where pocket sheild powers off the device when you press the power button..same thing used to happen with slide 2 unlock until they came out with slide 2 play...

give it try bro(they might not be that updated lol)

ha yea those are outdated... are those even vga versions?
s2p.55 and s2u21.35 are out now

a1aone is right, you have to let your phone shut off automatically or use headphones if you want to turn it off manually. Otherwise, you can use s2p or kinoma - both great

ah, thanks for the info. Whenever I was listening to music on my last phone I had headphones in. I was just randomly testing it now.
