My first HTC phone..small prob...
 

Hi, I just purchased a new HTC Touch Pro and this is my first ppc phone. I notice that when I talk to people the volume sounds very low so I often use the speaker phone option. I wanted to know if this problem was common and what can be done to fix this.

By the way I tried turning the volume and playing around with the audio booster but its not helping much. Any ideas?? And thankyou in advance.

And it sounds silly, but if you still have on the static cling screen protector it came with out of the box - punch a hole in the earpiece area (or take it off).

Yes I do still have that screen protector on so I'll try that. Also how do you soft reset the phone?

little hole to the right of usb port stick styli in there. for soft reset

Oh yea most definitely. Another question though (I hope u got time lol). Im not the most computer-literate person on this forum by far so what is the proper procedure for d/l the file? (I dont seem to be doing it correctly)

To download a file - (in IE or Firefox anyway) right click on the link to the file and select 'save target as' or 'save link as' (depends on your browser). I think it is possible to download from the phone itself, but I haven't tried that yet. I'll try in a bit and let you know.

ido all my downloading on my phone with my phone. you should also get total commnder for moving and unzipping files. you can dl using opera also. total commander link.http://www.ghisler.com/
