[FIXED] Pic Mail!

So... I can now send pics to any carrier. How you may ask? Well some of us know that the problem is the images are just too big to send, but who wants to sacrifice resolution for sending capabilities? Well i found an app that will resize images :D! What i did is in \Storage card\DCIM I made 2 new folders other than the 100MEDIA named Make Small and Small. Basicly I put the pics i want to make small in the make small folder, then run the program and select to resize those images and put them in the small folder. it takes 3 seconds to resize then your done.... TADA!

I dont know if its just me but every time I sent a Picture mail it resize my picture automatically.

You are correct, there is a KB sending limit for most people. However, because sprint doesn't send them MMS, they basically riped off SomeGuySMS and send it like he does, by connecting to pictures.sprint.com and sending the pictures though there, so when you get the picture in your email, it's got all the sprint garbage as well, which is very dissapointing. cause all their immages and such take up memory also. Come on sprint! fix this crap, let me "JUST" send the image, not all your garbage. haha. |

They cant even offer auto-resize of images on they POS they call "Picture Mail". Oh and be careful what kind of pictures you send, since they store them on their servers and who knows what else they do with them. |

I don't know about other carriers, but I send pic mail msgs to Tmobile all the time. My camera settings are on 3 mp. it seems to scale down the images just fine for me.

works fine for me too the 3.2mp pictures go to VZW and ATT phones just fine.

Maybe the picture is of something small and in black and white so it isn't that big and can be sent.

I have yet to successfully send a picture with my TP to another phone.
I can send them just fine to my email. the sprint picture mail web sight resizes the image for you, but only accepts uploads of certain sizes, so like hibby said, they are most likely too big. The whole setup sprint has is an okay idea, but bad in general, the picture should be MMS. I seen one guy said earlier, just as i did, they riped of SomeGuySMS's setup, just like he said sprint would. I payed to use his program, and he still updates it. It still sends pictures better then the sprint packaged setup as well. |

I dont nessarly want arcsoft back, i didn't really care for the interface, but.
Why can we not just have "add photo" in our regular text messages, like every other phone company has. I switched from nextel to sprint for a better phone then my 930, and the no picture mail thing really makes my jobs harder. |

as a matter of fact most phones have a seprate section for pic mail. and who cares about the interface it was sooooo god damn effective.

Yea, we all get pretty irate over this don't we? hahaha.
Im thinking about busting an older phone out and putting minutes on it just so i can send pictures flawlessly and easily with a phone. |

Seems like the issue is all due to windows mobile. I have a treo 755p on sprint in addition to my TP and I can send any pic to any carrier without any issue. Maybe I'm missing something but it appears sprint has true mms but not on windows mobile yet, which baffles me why they cant get it working right.

Well i've only had 2 winmo phones on sprint and neither could send mms without additional app support so maybe i should say winmo is just much less reliable for mms.

again, works fine here. just took a full 3mp pic with the Diamond and sent to a tmobile phone. Not sure what it looked like but it got there just fine. Dunno why some of you are having such huge issues, not that the program doesnt suck and take 10 years to send a pic. but i have no problems sending to regular phones on other carriers or with resizing 3mp pics
