Diamond TF3D Config issue
 

Ok I downloaded the Diamond TF3D Config onto my Touch Pro and I get this error

"ERROR:

An unexpected error has occurred in Diamond TF3D Config.exe.
Select Quit and then restart this program, or select Details for more information."

It installed good but it doesnt work....

Does anybody know what im doing wrong or if theres a way to fix this?

Open it in Windows\Program Files\Diamond TF3D Config\ and delete the "tweaks" at the bottom....

Any reason why the tweaks file has to be deleted? I had the same error until I deleted the file. I'm running an Alltel Diamond with stock rom.

Here's a cab I remade so I don't have to delete the tweaks file every time i reflash. This should work directly.

I Have installed the config on my HTC Touch Pro 2 and i have deleted the tweaks and i still get the same error thats mentioned above.. Can someone please help me .. Thanks

I tried the updated one and it reports the same error.
You think it is because I have Sprint?

Also... please forgive the newbie -- its my first windows mobile...

but, I could not figure out how to delete these files..

are you using file manager to get them here?

TF3D also gives me the error on my Touch Pro 2... but with Tmobile. Any ideas why, even after using the .NetCF 3.5, deleting the tweaks file and trying a soft reset?

I have the T-Mobile version of the TouchPro2 and can't get it to work after removing the tweak file either. Can't seem to find the soklution on another thread. Can anyone suggest a next step?

hi, i have htc touch pro 2 (international version)
i installed net compact framwrk 3.5 i gt diamond tf3d i also deleted
the tweak file still its not working showing some unexpected error
i really need to chng my theme if somebody could help!?

i got this new mobile, a htc pro touch 2, and i was trying to instal diamond tf3d config and as you all said i deleted the tweek file. but it still doesn't work... could some one help me what i'm doing wrong??

I have deleted the tweaks file on the VzW TP2 and I still get the unexpected error as well. On other forums there were talks about NET 3.5 I have something NET CF 3.5 listed in the "remove programs" list. So I believe I have that also.

Anyone care to lend some further advice on what the trouble might be. I would paste the error in the details. but I dont know how to actually cut/paste it.

removed tweaks file and it worked perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess you are the lucky one. Maybe my ROM version is older I dunno. I followed everything to the T, and it still didnt work. I just gave up and removed it.

Why do you need it on the TP2? The only thing ive ever used it for on the TP was to arrange the tabs, on the TP2, just go to Settings and click Customize Tabs...
