Bluetooth PAN keeps disconnecting
 

Hello-

I'm putting this here in hopes of getting more views...

I'm running Jugg's latest ROM, and can't seem to get ICS working for any longer than 30 seconds or so. Sometimes less. My laptop will say the network was unexpectedly terminated, and the TP (in ICS) will say "Disconnected". For that duration though, I can access the internet, so I know it works at least that much.

I'd really like to know if this could be a hardware issue, as I've got only one more day to exchange it at Best Buy. I already mentioned it in Jugg's thread, but got no replies.

Any ideas?

I've flashed to the latest eRice release, and still have this problem.

I'd really like to know if anyone else is experiencing anything like it, before I assume it's defective.

i am having the same issues as u... i started out with jd 11/17 rom and then switched to hippy 1.7 and the bluetooth pan does not stay connected...
i make sure that its paired phone to mac and then mac to phone and it still times out after just a few seconds...

so yea ur not alone in this matrix

Thanks ismhawk, I'm glad to know it's not a hardware issue. And yes, I'm using a Mac too.

I just tried with my PC, and Bluetooth tethering works fine. It's obviously something to do with Macs. :/ My 6800 used to work fine with my MBP.

PB G4 is what i tired to use it on... not sure why it doesn't connect, I've tired all different settings and it always times out... i wonder if more people are having this issue... we cant be alone...

i have a touch pro and the same thing happens only good for about 30 secs then it disconnects. would be great if someone figured out how to fix this

My touch pro used to work great for my PAN.. Untill now that is. I recently reflashed my rom and now it's not working anymore! only for 30 seconds! grrr! Anyone figure out how to fix this?

Odd you should mention this, my Juicy 090723 build finally works with my Mac's Bluetooth PAN. I'm not sure if it's just this build since I haven't tried in a few months, but I do know it's working now for me.
