im very wary on registry edits. can you explain what it does? for example you state one allows for a better battery? what does it exactly do? dims iit? shuts down programs? dims faster?

After some brief searching I couldn't find the exact answer. I came across it at least a year ago so this is my poor memory's answer:

WM6 has some features built in that are not supported by our phone yet. Doing these batter tweaks will kill these process running in the background that do nothing but eat battery. I want to say it has something to do with searching for business servers, but I'm not sure that's correct.

Either way, these tweaks are solid, and if for any reason you don't like them, just go back in put in the original settings...

Added the hack to make Voice Command announce the incoming caller. So now when you have your BT on and get a call, instead of just ringing, it tells you who is calling (if they're in your phonebook) or says the number. Don't have to take the phone out of my pocket! Thanks to hbenz2008!

they all work. if you don't like them, you can always hard reset.

Or you can just undo them (I avoid hard resets like the plague). All the original values should be posted, if you don't like how they perform then just set them back to their original values.

That's why I don't like cabbed tweaks, you don't know exactally what they do, so the only way to undo them is a hard reset.

just used phm reg editor to make the reg edits that enable tethering on my touch pro. works fine, thanks for the list of tweaks ;)

I used to love AE button plus but WM6.5 Roms do not seem to be compatible. Anyone out there using it still with WM6.5 ? I am on Mighty's 6.5 Rom now.
