I would look here and here for ways to make it quicker.. All of the advice given in those two threads work on the Sprint version, so I would assume they work on the Verizon version also since they both use Touch Flo and both run the same basic hardware set up..

After reading through this this thread (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=46572&page=6) I'd say they returned it and went with the Sprint version of the TP.

haha i doubt everyone returned it. im waiting for some ROMS to make it faster. i think getting a sprint phone to work on VZW would be too much of a hassle for me:(

Don't doubt you skills Touch... I would recommend getting the Sprint version, but the links I posted above should help you some what in getting the Verizon version running a bit faster...

thanks man. i sold a BB Storm to get this. I like it so far and its going faster with more use. will future ROMS help?

also, id get the sprint but i just paid full retail for this and its a pain to return it, get the sprint, get that working, etc.

That may be true, but you have a 30 day period to return the phone back right? I don't have Verizon so I am don't know their return policy.. Yes, future ROM updates should help in increasing the speed of the phone.. I do recommend in unlocking your phone so you can use the GPS without having to pay $10 for VZW Navigator..

You may want to do a hard reset just for good measure, although if you're already looking for roms, I imagine you've probably already done that.

haha... That is a way to go... But that does kill the single best feature of this phone..
