Can one assume the apps on the Sprint software store are compatible to device?

I've had my Sprint HT Pro for almost two weeks. While browsing the programs, I clicked on an icon for the Sprint software store. It displayed a lot of apps I've never heard of, and some I have. My question is: is it safe to assume any of the mobile apps displayed in the Sprint store on my device are compatible with the HT Pro? What if they're not? If I attempt to download one that isn't compatible, will I be notified during the install? Should I just browse for apps outside my device and do the installation by USB cable? Thanks!

Go to Handango.com, read about the app and its compatbility before dowload. if you wish to have a peace of mind, otherwise no worries... Later man
