Full browser problem
Ok, does anybody know how in the world I can stop Opera from loading up mobile versions of websites?
take www.nytimes.com for example....this one goes straight to mobile verison mobile.nytimes.com and I really dont like that... this mobile version is shortened and doesnt include everything the true site does..... oh and it doesnt have a link to "go to the full page", ive already checked.... again, does anybody know how to change this so I can see every page I visit as a full page like on a computer??? thanks in advance! |
Re: Full browser problem
Type Opera:Config in the address bar. Go to the user preferences section. Change your user agent string to that of a desktop browser. A standard Internet Explorer 6/Windows XP UA string looks something like:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) [Edit: Also, depending on what build of Opera you are running, you may need to change the following line in the opera.ini file: UAProf URL Enabled=1 -->Change value to 0] http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3193/...4d788bcb_o.jpg |
